Description
Made by the Master of the Madiran appellation, Alain Brumont. This is a muscular wine starting with the deep moody colour and earthy aromas. Blackcurrants, ripe plums possibly prune too sit well with the tannic structure of this wine. The highlight is the prolonged finish of liquorice and coffee. A punchy wine, paired with the traditional Gascony dishes of cassoulet, mushrooms and wild boar or such like, is excellent!
80% Tannat 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
