Description
A light-bodied Venetian red with an abundance of fruit especially wild cherries, interesting subtle spice with a little dryness on the finish. Can be served lightly chilled perhaps with roast chicken laced with thyme or drink happily with the classic pizza combination. Particularly refreshing. The producer Monte Del Frà, is well-reputed for its fine viticulture and its constant effort to make high quality classic wines. The previous vintage was given a fabulous review by Jancis.robinson.com and this year’s offering follows closely in its footsteps.
