Description
This is the vintage which many wine growers in Burgundy will remember as a very challenging year. It started with late devastating frosts followed by a cool wet summer and the only saving grace was the warmth in September & October. The winemakers at Deux Roches said what the vines couldn’t get from the sun it got from the ground. Thus this vintage reflects the weather conditions with a lovely mineral purity, clean palate of citrus, crisp apples and pears, with a touch of butter & toast from the oak. A well-priced beautifully complex white Burgundy which we are thrilled to have found.
