Our new Vermentino from Sardinia! Just a sniff of the wonderful aromatic nose of orange zest, kiwi and honeysuckle takes you to the dry, dusty, sun-drenched island renown for its granite rocks. Good medium weight on the palate, with delicate soft baked apples, honey and citrus. The finish is long with some savoury notes and a lime tang. Delicious as a first glass of the day and perfect with many foods and especially seafood.
Serve at 8-10 degrees, so preferably take it out of the fridge 15 minutes or so before you’d like to drink it.
