Description
New to our rosé shelf last summer is a rather lovely wine made from Grenache & Syrah. Grown in the foothills near Narbonne, SW France, it benefits from the cool mountain breezes to aid even ripening. Delicate pink hue in the glass, good weight in the mouth, raspberry notes with a burst of pomegranate on the finish. Came first in a recent blind tasting.
It is made Jean-Michel Cazes, the owner of Château Lynch-Bages in Pauillac a well-respected Bordeaux winemaker.
