We have been searching for a Chilean Carmenère for a while now and we believe that this one from the Colchagua Valley hits the spot!
It has bags of red fruit flavours, and an herbaceousness alongside a touch of paprika. It is aged in oak for 12 months giving those classic vanilla & cocoa power hints. The tannins melt away with food. We enjoyed it with a grilled steak with herb butter & horseradish – it came to life!
