Description
From the same stable as the Garnacha blanc, this Albariño from the Raimat winery in North East Spain has a great reputation despite not being grown in the variety’s homeland of Rías Baixas.
The perfume on the nose is intense with stone fruits, peaches and apricots on the palate sitting comfortably with the citrus & mineral notes. Victoria Moore says it is the white wine for shellfish but also lovely with slow-cooked pork.
