Description
We visited the L’Ostal vineyards in January this year and were impressed by their commitment to producing a small yet beautifully made range of wines including this one.
A full-bodied Syrah dominant blend with fine oak flavours on the lingering finish. Fruit is generous on the nose and palate, the terroir, particularly the garrigue is reflected in the herbaceous taste. Only 25% of the Syrah is aged in oak giving subtle toasty notes.
Very food friendly. A house favourite!
