Description
Made in the vineyards of the Comune di La Morra. Although 2015 was a patchy vintage in general, the Marcarini Family have produced a good Barolo by vinifying grapes from several vineyards on their Poderi. The result is a wine with a fresh nose reminiscent of rose petals reaching through to the end with a long intense savouriness. Drinking well now but will improve further with age.
The Nebbiolo grape sits well with creamy sauces, soufflés, and Autumn delights such as game, squashes and wild mushrooms, excellent in a beef casserole.
